Solvotix Smart Plug — Technical Data

Controller: ESP32-C2 SoC (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth Low Energy 5). Firmware built with ESP-IDF; secure boot and flash encryption optional.
Network Mode: BLE-to-gateway by default (Wi-Fi disabled). Optional Wi-Fi direct-to-cloud firmware variant.
Electrical: 230 VAC +/-10%, 50/60 Hz; models 10 A or 16 A (Schuko Type F). Standby < 0.8 W (typ). Relay life >= 100k cycles at rated load.
Load Types: Resistive loads (heaters, kettles). Limited inductive loads (fans/pumps) within rated current. Surge and inrush handling (model dependent).
Energy Telemetry: On/off state and runtime counters. Optional kWh metering (active power, voltage, current, power factor). Supports calibration.
Wireless: Bluetooth Low Energy 5 (configurable TX power). Coverage provided via Solvotix gateways.
Security: BLE LE Secure Connections. Signed OTA. Gateway to cloud over TLS 1.2+ with tenant-scoped auth and audit trail.
Firmware and OTA: Fleet OTA updates, staged rollouts, rollback safety. Local schedules and policies cached for offline operation.
